Radiological Views of the LAP-BAND® System

Note the angle of the Lap-Band.

Note the undisturbed passage of the contrast medium.

Note there is no excess gastric fundus tissue above the band.

Fig.1 Water-soluble contrast medium swallow on the first postoperative day. Notice the position of the LAP-BAND® System: which is very proximal, almost at the gastro esopheal junction.

Note the non-obstructed passage of contrast medium with a non-adjusted band.

Note the appearance of a small proximal Gastric pouch and the slightly obstructed passage of contrast media.
