Macadamia Vanilla Cheese Pie

 

Macadamia Vanilla Cheese Pie

bullet1/4 cup ground almonds
bullet4 graham crackers
bullet1 cup macadamia nuts
bullet3 packets Splenda
bullet6 tablespoons butter -- melted
bulletFilling
bullet16 ounces cream cheese
bullet2 large eggs
bullet3/4 cup Splenda
bullet3/4 cup plain yogurt
bullet1 tablespoon vanilla


-Prepare pie shell: Break graham crackers into large pieces ;place them & ground almonds in food processor or blender container.
-Add macadamia nuts and mix until finely crushed.
-Combine crumbs, butter, and sweetener in small bowl. Press firmly into bottom and up sides of an 8 inch springform pan and refrigerate until firm.
-Preheat oven to 350°F.
-Combine cream cheese, eggs, yogurt, vanilla and sweetener in a medium bowl. Blend thoroughly.
-Pour cream cheese mixture over crust.
-Bake 20 minutes or until just set.
-Cool completely on wire rack.
-Refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
-Makes 16 servings @4.4 minus 0.4grams fiber=4 carbs & 3.6 grams protein
